Recently, I accidentally knocked the wick off center in my favorite candle and then couldn’t get it back in the middle so I pulled it out. There was still 1/2 of the candle left in the container so I started heating it up in a pot of water to make my kitchen smell nice.

I was in Hobby Lobby last week and found a plug in candle warmer that was only around $4.00. Because I was there when just about everything was 50% off, the candle warmer was the price of a candy bar. I wasn’t sure how well it was  going to work and didn’t want to sink a lot of money into it so I was very happy with this deal.

I was really surprised how well it works! It melts my whole candle in no time and allows me to burn my candle at work without a flame!

I usually go nuts on Cyber Monday, but this year I just didn’t see anything I wanted, but I did find a couple of things I needed. Now that it has turned cold where I live, I realized that I am short on long pajamas!

J.Crew has the best PJ bottoms because they make them LONG! Their regular pajama bottom length has a 32 inch inseam! That’s a dream for someone like me who has long suffered with short pajamas. I had been pairing my short pajamas with tall socks and I would tuck the ends into the socks to keep my ankles warm.

I purchased “Pajama Pant in Festive Plaid Cotton Poplin” (that name is too long if you ask me) for $29.70. Their original price was $49.50.

I also purchased this “Dreamy Pant” (much shorter name) for $33.00. The original price was $55.00.

Because these pajamas are long enough, I don’t have to get them in such a large size for the length and then cinch them in so much just to get them to stay on.

These make excellent gifts you guys! Hint Hint…

Y’all! My new (technically I’ve been here a year now) job requires a major change in footwear. Benefit from my career change and grab these beauties while you can!

Charles by Charles David, Cole Haan, Chanel, Ann Taylor, Manolo Blahnik, Olivia Rose Tal, Banana Republic, Michael Kors, Tory Burch.

All of these shoes are available through Poshmark!

I have been radio silent lately because the holidays are kicking up and there is much to do to prepare! Where I work, we have a western wear store and I was tasked with creating a display for the window. The windows are small so I decided to hang something that would draw attention, but not completely obscure the store. After a quick search on pinterest, I found this wagon wheel wreath and I fell in love with the concept.

This original wreath looked a little washed out, so I kicked it up a notch and voila!

I used fake greenery, pheasant feathers, candied berries and a big, bright bow. It took a lot of floral wire and my hands look like I got in a fight with a chicken, but I was very happy with how it turned out.

I purchased the wagon wheels on Amazon (they were $67.99 when I bought them), but the rest of the supplies came from Hobby Lobby.

I got the matte black iPhone 7 instead of the gold this time and I really like that it’s less flashy. I also selected basic accessories that I have tried and loved in the past.
These are my go to phone case items:

Tech Armor Screen Protector:

I have seen so many people break their glass screen protectors and I don’t see why people continue to buy them. I bought this Tech Armor screen protector for my iPhone 6 two years ago and apart from a few scratches to the protective screen, I never had any issues and didn’t need to reapply it. The Verizon man tried to sell me on the other kind, but I’m sticking by this product, because it has served me well. It’s also CHEAP at only $5.95 from Amazon!

Case-Mate Naked Tough Case:

I purchased this case for my iPhone 6 and really enjoyed it. I had the clear one last time so that the gold phone would be fully visible. This time I’m going with a smoky case. My phone is black so it shouldn’t really matter, but I like to be able to see through the case a bit. It’s just a personal preference. I have had one of these cases chip at the edges, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I am very careful with my phones and often go without a case, but because my phone is so new, I do want to protect it. This case is $34.99 on Amazon.

I finally upgraded to the new iPhone. My last iPhone was a gold 6 that I purchased in 2014. It was time for a new phone!

I had seriously been considering getting the 7 Plus, but ultimately decided against it and here’s why:

  1. I like being able to fit my phone in my pocket.
  2. I carry my computer everywhere with me anyway and can work much more efficiently from a laptop than from a phone.
  3. I remembered that my handy Kate Spade mini purse was made for the smaller phone.

So far I am loving the new phone. The new operating system makes much more sense on this phone and it’s different home button interface. Now I’m not floundering around on an old 6 trying to use the new OS.
