I’m walking much better now that my fall is almost 3 months behind me. I still have a ways to go before I can run again, but I’m back in normal shoes and am beginning to take on a little height.
Nothing keeps me motivated like a pair of new shoes. And twice the pairs of new shoes means twice the motivation!
These were not on sale, but they were so reasonably priced to begin with that I’m not bothered by it in the least.
The THOUGHTFUL Gladiator Sandals on the left were $51.00.
The TREAT ME Heeled Sandals were $40.00.
Gosh I hope they are as cute in person as they are in the photos!
As a child, I was confused by the concept of a shell. What my mother called a shell looked to me a whole lot like a tank top and I always wondered why my mother had so many “shells” in her closet.
I totally get it now!
They fit perfectly under a jacket and avoid the whole bunched up sleeve scenario. They are also a smart option for summer when it is blazing hot outside, but you need a jacket indoors to counter the blasting AC.
Now I am growing a shell collection of my own!
This week Ann Taylor marked everything on their website down by 40% and I picked up this classic shell in 3 colors. The promotion reduced each top from $39.50 to $23.70 each.
I’m not much of an Avon fan, but these lip balms are awesome!
They are only $4.00 a pop so the price can’t be beat!
I own Plum Passion, Peach Pout and I think the other one is Cherry Kiss.
If you are looking for chapstick with color, this is a great product!
It’s been a month or so since I posted about my Poshmark finds, so let me get you caught up.
J.Crew Cabled Cashmere Sweater $18.00
Jack Rogers Nude Sandals $74.00
J.Crew Tweed Jacket $40.00
Summer is a great time to buy winter clothes because they are all on sale! I am always keeping my eye out for the reduction notices on Poshmark for additional savings.
My go to Jack Rogers sandals finally kicked the bucket last week after having been resoled twice and so it was time for a new pair. I found these never been worn Jacks for only $74! That’s a savings of about $30.00. Not bad!
I’m loving the tassel trend and Misa’s hot pink earrings are all the rage right now, but man those things are expensive!
I have found the same look for less!
I found this vendor on Etsy who is selling these tassel earrings for $9.99. With shipping it comes out to $13 and change. They are made in Thailand so it took about a month for them to arrive, but they were well worth the wait! Other colors are available so check it out!
When I was little, my family would go to the beach and my mother, sister and I all had these light weight flowing coverups/summer dresses that were very colorful. I had all but forgotten them until my sister brought it up about a year ago. We all had a laugh remebering the silly prints and the good times we had at the beach growing up. As a joke, my mom bought one on eBay for my sister this past Christmas. She actually loved it and now wears it to the beach all the time!
A couple weeks ago, I went online and found one for myself! If you buy them new they are around $125.00, but this one on eBay was only $24.00!
I went to the beach last weekend and was excited to wear it for the first time.
I have to say, this dress is pretty great. It kept me super cool. I wasn’t hot in it once! The pockets are a nice bonus also.
This is now officially my go to beach/pool coverup.
Last weekend I had the most incredible luck at Target in my home town. The swim displays at the front were completely depleted, but when I walked back to the changing rooms, I found loads of swimwear in my size. I tried a few things on and they fit!
From the store, I purchased two bikini tops and one pair of bottoms.
Striped Bikini Top | Polka Top Bandeau Top | Hipster Bottoms
I also purchased two athletic tops. All of the items were on sale through he Cartwheel app. I have misplaced my receipt, but the total was originally $90 something and the Cartwheel app promotions brought the total down to $77.64. I would have spent that much or more on just 1 bathing suit anywhere else!
There were a few other bathing suits in the store that I didn’t find in my size so I purchased them online a few days later.
Green Top | Green Bottom | Striped Bottom | Blue Top | Blue Bottom
Because I couldn’t find the striped bottom to match the top I purchased in the store, that was my first search on the Target website. I had worn my polka dot bathing suit over the Memorial Day weekend and loved the fit. I saw that it came in a gorgeous blue and green color so I found them online and bought them too!
The original total for my online order was $90.95, but a 20% off promotion they were running for Memorial Day brought the total down to $77.64. That’s a lot of swimwear for less than $80!
I hadn’t purchased a new swim suit in a long time and my old ones were shot so I needed a few new suits.
