I hoaned in on one item to purchase during Amazon’s Prime Day this year.

I have a lot of friends who have Bose bluetooth speakers and the sound is fantastic. I have a set of speakers that I love, but they must be plugged into the wall and I have been looking to buy a nice portable speaker for some time now.

Originally $199.00, this speaker was reduced to $179.00 and then an additional $50.00 off for Amazon Prime Day. With tax and free shipping, I only paid $137.71. That’s a pretty good deal! I can’t wait to begin using it!

I found myself in need of a fresh day to day black dress to wear under jackets at work. It’s so difficult to find dresses that hit at the knee these days so I was thrilled to find one for such a reasonable price on Amazon.

This Lark & Roe dress was only $59.50!

It’s washable and I didn’t even have to iron it after washing. Such an easy dress for those mornings when you just need to grab and go.

I caved out of curiosity and purchased a black mask product to try.

Right off the bat I found a spelling error on the packaging. That set my expectations pretty low.

I went on and used the product as directed and was pleasantly surprised!

I am not particularly happy with the size of the pores on my nose. They catch everything and look dirty so I was excited to try this out on my nose. I figured that would be where I would see the best results and I was right. Some of what you see on the mask is hair, the rest is tiny bits of goop that was in my pores. Not bad!

I experienced zero skin irritation or discoloration, which was a huge relief. With cheap and trendy products like these, you never know what you are getting. It didn’t hurt at all either. Not in the least. After using the product on my nose, I used it on my chin. I’ll probably continue to use the product in small areas rather than applying it to my whole face at once.

Overall I’m pretty happy with this product. It was only $12.99 so there was little to lose in giving it a try. As a backup I also purchased Biore Charcoal Nose Strips. I have used these in the past, but can’t find them in stores way out where I live so I had to order more. They work well too if you would prefer a less messy product.

I have been continuously frustrated with the short lead of my standard issue Apple device chargers. I want to be able to plug in and move around!

Last week I ordered a few charging cords on Amazon. This pack of 3 was only $11.99 and the cards are all 10 feet long. They arrived in the mail on Wednesday and I am positively thrilled!

I gave one to a friend and still have one to carry in my work tote and one to keep at home. Now I can lounge comfortably in my bed or on my sofa with my device without having to contort to face the direction of a plug. I could actually jump rope with these cables!

If you are fed up with short charging cords for your apple devices, get these now while the promotion lasts!

Now this may gross you out, but my stove is pretty old. I rent an old cottage that was originally a barn and the appliances are the good ol’ white stuff.

I have done everything I can think of to restore the burner pans and, trust me, they have come along way but they still aren’t fully clean. I don’t like cooking on dirty surfaces. To me it’s like brushing your teeth over a filthy sink.

Amazon to the rescue!

I found these burner pans for only $10.61 and it took my stove from this…

To this…

Here’s a closeup of one of the old pans next to the new ones.

Gross, I know.
Is it weird that just this little change makes me so so happy?

This dog is my child and my fur baby deserves the best. I have bought more than I care to admit for this pooch, but I’m here to share the best of the best. I also don’t go shopping for myself much anymore. It’s all about the puppy!

My dog LOVES bones and has taken to hiding them (not so well) all over the place. In a 3 pack featuring different types of Nylabones, there was one bone that topped them all. Pinckney went wild for the Lamb and Apple edible bone. I now keep him well stocked in bones, which keeps him away from my shoes!

I also purchased a really cool new leash. This leash has accessories! This brand makes a little container that clips into it and can hold poopie bags or treats! It’s pretty darn cool. The price is pretty good too depending on the color you pick. I didn’t go with the least expensive because I was set on having teal.

This may not seem very exciting, but I’m excited about it! I needed bowls for P’s travel crate and found a great deal on this 2-pack. Only $10.99!

Also not super exciting, I bought this comb at the suggestion of a groomer. P is beginning to get his undercoat and apparently a comb gets at it better than a brush.

Sorry if I’m boring you with the puppy stuff, but look at this face! Irresistible!

I have needed a cordless hand vacuum for a while now and have been holding off because of the reviews I have been reading online. I knew it would be worth it to buy a higher powered hand vacuum, but I was hesitant because I’m cheap (yes I admit it) and nicer vacuums are more expensive. In comes Amazon with the save! (literally)

This Black + Decker 16 volt Lithium Cordless Dust Buster Hand Vac is usually $89.99, but right now you can get it on Amazon for only $49.99! Now that’s a good deal! With the winter rolling in and mice heading for the warm indoors, I have a feeling this little vacuum  will become very handy.
