Rihanna’s beauty line is blowing up in print and online. Her products are so popular that a person has to be stationed next to the display at Sephora to thwart theft. That’s pretty major.
I decided to get a little something from her line for myself and purchased the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer.
It’s really really pretty y’all.
At only $18.00, this lip gloss much more affordable than the other popular and coveted brands out there. Rhianna has created an extremely desirable product line that is meant for ALL skin tones and she has priced it within reach. Mad respect Rhi Rhi.
It has been over a year since I purchased my Bloom palette and I have used all that is left are the more dramatic color. I had been looking for a new basics palette and settled on the Naked2 palette by Urban Decay. I had the original Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet before and enjoyed it but wanted to try something new.
I picked up this palette at Ulta for $29.00 and had $8.00 in rewards that brought it down to $21.00. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I like it better than the original. The tones are softer and I am able to use all of the colors. They are flat in tone so I punch it up with a little sparkle from what is left of my Tartelette palette.
I’m not much of an Avon fan, but these lip balms are awesome!
They are only $4.00 a pop so the price can’t be beat!
I own Plum Passion, Peach Pout and I think the other one is Cherry Kiss.
If you are looking for chapstick with color, this is a great product!
I have been looking for a new makeup bag now for some time. I couldn’t find quite the right size, shape or quality that I was looking for. That was until I popped in to Skiffingtons at Tryon Resort. Lisa Skiffington sourced these makeup bags in Italy and they are by SanPatrignano.
Because it is shaped like a men’s toiletry case, it fits more than you would think.
I love my bag (the pink one) so much that I got a purple spotted one for my sister and one just like mine in red (not pictured) for my mom. They are only $25.00 which is a major steal for these great bags! Skiffington’s has more so call them today!
If you read this post, you know I went to the Benefit Brow bar over the weekend. I go just about every 4-5 weeks for a shape up. I maintain with tweezers at home in-between visits.
On a previous visit, I tried Benefit’s Gimme Brown Eyebrow Gel and I liked it, but I wasn’t sold on the whole brow tint thing. During my most recent visit, I tried their Instant Brow pencil. It’s pretty great! I bought it and have been very happy using it this week. It is more of a wax, which I like. My brows stay in place and look more full.
The only downside of this product is that it requires a sharpener. I thought it was a twist up product when I purchased it… nope. It’s still a winner and I suggest giving it a try!
Over the weekend I visited the Benefit Brow Bar at an Ulta and while I was waiting for my appointment, I took a look around and found a really great eyeshadow palette.
I haven’t found one that I liked in quite some time! My neighbor gave me the Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Basics palette the Christmas before last and I have just about used up all of my favorite colors. Before that I bought the Stila In The Light palette and I still use it even though it is ancient. That palette came out back when I was in college so it is high time I get a fresh set.
I had been looking for one that hit the happy medium between my favorite palettes and I found it! I ordered it on Amazon and it arrives Wednesday. I’m so excited!
Now this is a cool product.
On a recent trip to Ulta, I grabbed this lipstick to try. I had seen posts on youtube and blogs about it and decided to try it myself. It doesn’t go on green and somehow reacts with your lips to make it the perfect shade of pink. It’s pretty darn cool. Everyone I show it to can’t believe that it doesn’t make my lips green.
Besides the obvious cool factor, it feels great on! It feels as smooth as vaseline and I love it. I’m not sure if I will buy this product again, but for a bit of fun I don’t think $25 is too much for this product.
