I’m walking much better now that my fall is almost 3 months behind me. I still have a ways to go before I can run again, but I’m back in normal shoes and am beginning to take on a little height.

Nothing keeps me motivated like a pair of new shoes. And twice the pairs of new shoes means twice the motivation!

These were not on sale, but they were so reasonably priced to begin with that I’m not bothered by it in the least.

The THOUGHTFUL Gladiator Sandals on the left were $51.00.
The TREAT ME Heeled Sandals were $40.00.

Gosh I hope they are as cute in person as they are in the photos!

Last weekend I had the most incredible luck at Target in my home town. The swim displays at the front were completely depleted, but when I walked back to the changing rooms, I found loads of swimwear in my size. I tried a few things on and they fit!

From the store, I purchased two bikini tops and one pair of bottoms.

Striped Bikini Top | Polka Top Bandeau Top | Hipster Bottoms

I also purchased two athletic tops. All of the items were on sale through he Cartwheel app. I have misplaced my receipt, but the total was originally $90 something and the Cartwheel app promotions brought the total down to $77.64. I would have spent that much or more on just 1 bathing suit anywhere else!

There were a few other bathing suits in the store that I didn’t find in my size so I purchased them online a few days later.

Green Top | Green Bottom | Striped Bottom | Blue Top | Blue Bottom

Because I couldn’t find the striped bottom to match the top I purchased in the store, that was my first search on the Target website. I had worn my polka dot bathing suit over the Memorial Day weekend and loved the fit. I saw that it came in a gorgeous blue and green  color so I found them online and bought them too!

The original total for my online order was $90.95, but a 20% off promotion they were running for Memorial Day brought the total down to $77.64. That’s a lot of swimwear for less than $80!

I hadn’t purchased a new swim suit in a long time and my old ones were shot so I needed a few new suits.

Bare with me! I am working through a backlog of posts that were in my draft folder. Apparently I just never hit post!

A few months ago I purchased a new handbag thay I ultimately had to return due to an issue with the strap. I didn’t replace it at the time because I couldn’t find another bag that I liked.

Over the weekend I finally found the perfect handbag!

I compared the large and small bags and bought the smaller bag. The smaller bag was originally $295.00 reduced to $179.00. While I was in the store, they were offering a promotion that offered another 50% off of most bags. That brought the total before taxes to only $89.50! When it was all said and done, I only paid $95.77!

I love a good beige bag!

About a month ago, I fell and injured my ankle. I spent a lot of time in a boot and on crutches and am finally down to just an ankle brace. The only problem now is that the ankle brace doesn’t fit most of my shoes.

I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t imagine wearing a shoe other than the boot for a long time, but got a pair of Crocks to try. They were cheap, light weight, and they fit my swollen foot. Yes they are silly looking, but they didn’t hurt to wear and for that I am thankful.

When I graduated from Crocks, I moved into Birkenstocks. They are adjustable and can be loosened to accommodate a brace. Their firm sole keeps me steady on my feet and it’s nice to have a little arch support.

I purchased the Silver Gizeh sandals from Amazon for $94.95 and I purchased the Metallic Anthracite Arizona sandals on Poshmark for $60.00 and they still had the tags on them! The Arizona sandals are usually $135.00 so I really got a good deal. I feel a little hippy dippy when I wear them, but these Birkenstocks feel pretty darn great.

I’m finally healing and am able to wear a few other pairs of shoes, but it’s going to be another couple of months before I can be back in heels and wedges. The worst is behind me!

Pardon the quick selfie, but these earrings must be shared.

I haven’t purchased a pair of earrings in a long time. I think the last time I posted about earrings was when I had my drop earrings remade into studs. I haven’t purchased earrings since then and that was a full year ago now.

I was in Pink on Main at TIEC over the weekend and they had these super cool earrings for sale. I just had to have a pair! I loved the blue and the pink ones, but the blue didn’t show up well with my dark hair. I bought the pink ones and LOVE them. They are so light weight and are going to look super cute with a plain dress this summer. I’m not sure who makes them, but I am going to keep my eye on this store for more super cute statement earrings.

I have been through some ups and downs with my britches lately. My favorite pair of Ponte Pants blew its zipper and now my two pairs of good jeans have broken belt loops.

I have regained some ground on the work pants side of things, but I have had trouble finding jeans that are long enough. On a whim I entered “32 inch inseam” into Poshmark and found some really great options.

I scored this pair of Vince jeans for only $43.00! They are so very soft and light weight, which makes them perfect for the warmer months.

I also found this pair of Paige jeans on eBay in perfect condition for less than $50.00! The fit is just right and they would have cost me close to $200.00 if I had bought them in a store.

I have been doing a lot of shopping lately, but I have spent very little thanks to eBay and Poshmark. It’s easy to buy and to sell! Check out the items I have available on both sites!
